If you have been following my blog long enough, you know that I am a huge fan of Herschel Supply backpacks. I’m so obsessed with this brand that in the past years I’ve bought not only backpacks but also other things like a beanie or a wallet. I’ve even convinced my boyfriend and my mother to get a Herschel backpack for their travels. On this post I will review some of the best Herschel backpacks for travelers so you can find which one is best for you.

1. Little America Flapover Backpack

Little America is Herschel’s most classic backpack and one of my favorites. It is also the first backpack that I bought from Herschel in 2015 and it has traveled with me to Europe, Southeast Asia, Perú and many other places. I still use it so it shows how durable Herschel backpacks are.

Little America backpack has a 25L capacity and has a 15″ size laptop padded sleeve. It comes in 36 different colors and it is water resistant. It has never hurt my back as the padding on the straps make it so comfortable. It is perfect for any trip!

2. Settlement Backpack

The Settlement backpack is another Herschel bag I own. It has a smaller size than the Little America but is still perfect as a carry on backpack. I personally use this bag almost every day in my daily life and I’ve also taken it to many short trips.

Settlement Backpack has a capacity of 23L and is equipped with a 15″ laptop sleeve and a front pocket with key clip. It comes in many different colors and patterns.

3. Barlow Backpack

The Barlow backpack is part of The Trail collection, a selection of Herschel Supply’s products designed for exploring cities and outdoors.

The Barlow backpack has a capacity of 27L. It comes with a 13″ padded laptop sleeve, shoulder straps with adjustable sternum support, 2 external water bottle holders and a custom design rain-cover which is so helpful when you travel as you can’t always predict the weather.

I think this is seriously one of the best backpacks for travelers who love to explore cities and also love to explore the outdoors.

4. Mammoth Backpack

Mammoth Backpack is another design from The Trail collection. It comes in two sizes: the smaller has a 18L capacity and the larger Mammoth allows up to 23L. This backpack combines technical features with a minimalist style. It is equipped with sunglasses compartment, adjustable sternum support, water-resistant coating, laptop sleeve and external water bottle pockets.

5. Retreat Backpack

The Herschel Supply Co. Retreat Backpack is a smaller version of the Little America backpack. It has a padded laptop sleeve, contoured shoulder strap and a capacity of 14L. It is perfect if you’re looking for a smaller backpack to keep all your essential stuff organized when you travel.

6. Nova Small Backpack

If you’re looking for a small backpack for urban exploring the Nova small backpack is the one for you. It has a main compartment and a front storage pocket. I always bring a small bag like this one when I travel to cities so I can put my camera, a bottle of water, my wallet and glasses. I have a small backpack like this one from the 2016 holiday collection from Herschel and love it.

7. Packable Daypack

This is the lightest backpack you’ll find on the market. The packable daypack is made with lightweight polyester fabric material and designed to be folded into its own internal pocket. You can store it into your luggage and only use it when you need it. I think it’s perfect for traveling as you sometimes make some unexpected shopping and you can use this packable bag to store all your things.

8. Buckingham Backpack

The Buckingham Backpack has a similar design to Little America but offers way more space and compartments. It is the biggest Herschel backpack with a capacity of 33L, 2 outside pockets for water bottles, a 15″ laptop sleeve, 2 front pockets and a zippered lid pocket. It is the perfect backpack for travelers looking for a bag with many compartments to keep things organized.

9. Herschel Travel Backpack

This backpack is specially designed for travelers. It is a slim backpack made with water resistant material. It has a main compartment with a 15″ size laptop padded sleeve , a front compartment with several organizational pockets, dual water bottle pockets and a front storage sleeve.

It also feature a luggage trolley sleeve which is perfect when you travel with a carry on. The total capacity of the Herschel Travel backpack is 20 liters.

10. Hardside Spinner Luggage

I know this is not a backpack but I couldn’t leave it out of the list because look how cute this suitcase is! Herschel Supply Co. also has its line of luggage created specially for travelers. This carry-on will keep all your things safe with its hard shell exterior and zipper-lock offer protection. The internal mesh divider is the key to keeping your clothes organized. It comes in 4 sizes with a capacity of 34L, 40L, 72L, and 99L.

11. Herschel fIfteen waist packYep! Another intruder in my backpacks list is this hip pack which you can combine with a backpack and use it to keep your documents and cell phone in your travels.
