The burger revolution has arrived to Buenos Aires and the amount of places to eat burgers in the city is increasing every day. There are now plenty of places where you can eat burgers made of argentinian prime meat. I have taken the arduous task of trying different burgers offered in Buenos Aires and this is the list of the best burgers in Buenos Aires.

Which are the best burgers in Buenos Aires?
Best burgers in Buenos Aires, Argentina:
Located in the heart of Palermo SoHo, this place is definitely one of my favorites. Burgers and fries are excellent but I also love the grunge vibes of the place, inspired New York’s Burger Joint. My favorite: the American, because bacon + BBQ = heaven
Located in Núñez neighborhood, these burgers have a special taste because they are made 100% with “bife de chorizo”, a special meat cut in Argentina. The atmosphere is super friendly, a small bar with hipster vibes with communal tables.
This burger was awarded the Best Burger in BA in 2017. Certainly it is very tasty and the place has a very cool environment. Fries are delicious and abundant. There is also a cocktail bar and a big variety of sauces and dressings. Try the mayo with garlic! Since the place won the award in 2017, it is really popular and crowded.
A classic bur gourmet style burger. “La clásica” (tomato, lettuce, cheddar cheese, bacon, cucumber, caramelized onions) can’t fail. Best thing? It opens until 7 a.m. Beer is sold too. They have locations in downtown, San Telmo and Palermo.
One of the most acclaimed burgers in B.A. They have recommended me this places so many times I needed to go and I managed to enter the place the third time I tried. It is extremely popular and the place is really small. But it was worth the wait, the burgers are delicious! 200 gr of premium meat and artisan bread. There are many options to choose from, even stuffed burgers. Luckily they will open a new and bigger location soon.
A burger laboratory inspired in the popular Breaking Bad series. Burgers are super original, with lots of ingredients, sauces and even a BBQ ribs burger!. Don’t leave without trying the ketchup with curry. It became so popular there are two locations now and are planning on opening more.
Burgers inspired by the barrios (neighborhoods) of Buenos Aires, every Burger is named by one. The bread bun is amazing, excellent meat and a nice combination of ingredients. They already have 9 locations! Every month there is “Burger of the month” with a new neighborhood.
Hidden in the beautiful Dellepiane passage in Buenos Aires downtown, this burger joint has the perfect environment, with small tables on the sidewalk next to the historic pavement. Delicious burgers, craft beer, and a unique location. Try the Dellepiane sauce!
I’m going to make a special mention for the pulled pork sandwich with cole slaw from Bulls BBQ because it is the best in Buenos Aires! The burgers are delicious too, but of course what stands out most is the quality of the BBQ sauce. A small place with nice atmosphere in the neighborhood of Palermo.
This is the most recent gem I discovered in Palermo. Everything in Fat Broder is 100% hand made and you can notice this from the ingredients to the staff (the owners cook and serve).
All burgers come with double meat and ingredients are perfectly combined. Fries are one of the best I’ve tried: homemade, crunchy and thick. There are plenty of original sauces to choose. Craft beer is really good too! And there’s also a veggie option. For me this is the burger paradise. My favorite: Juicy Lucy. Seriously, try it.
This is a place everyone recommend me for years and I finally gave it a chance. La Birra Bar is claimed as the best burger of Buenos Aires. They are certainly delicious and super big.
You can find La Birra Bar in Boedo, Colegiales, San Telmo, Villa Crespo and Olivos. A great place to go with friends, with time (there’s usually a long line) and when you’re very hungry. They offer two special burgers designed by the burger instagramers: @burgererkid and @burgerfacts.
Located in Palermo, The Burger Company offers meat, chicken, salmon and veggie burgers. They also have a great variety of fries, similar to Shake Shack’s crinkle cut fries. The place is very modern and quite spacious with a patio, ideal for big groups of friends.
One of the last places that emerged is Dogg House, a burger and and hot-dogs shop located in Belgrano. Burgers are super yummy! They all come with double meat and you can combine different ingredients as you like. Totally worth it!
If you are looking for a sophisticated and fancy place with great gourmet burgers, Pony Line is the ideal place for you. This bar is located inside Four Seasons Hotel Buenos Aires hotel in the exclusive Recoleta neighborhood.
They offer two burger options. The “Pony” is the classic and comes with cheese, bacon, crispy onion, pickles and homemade barbecue. A highlight is the bread which is spongy and gratinated in Lincoln cheese. The burgers are delicious and eating in this bar is a different experience from any of the other burger shops in the cuty: excellent service and a very intimate and relaxed atmosphere.

Deniro is a place that stands out for the raw material of its burgers. They are all made with entraña, a cut of meat usually used in an asado. The burgers are delicious, abundant and with a lot of options in terms of combination of ingredients and dressings.
They have stores in practically all neighborhoods of Buenos Aires and surrounding areas: Almagro, Belgrano, Caballito, Mataderos, Olivos, Palermo, Recoleta, Saavedra, San Telmo and more.
