On my recent trip to the US, I visited Boston for the first time with my boyfriend and we opted to stay at Aloft Boston Seaport.

We arrived late at night from Chicago and were greeted by the friendly and helpful front desk employees. As soon as you enter Aloft Boston Seaport you will notice the colorful and modern design of the main floor. I loved all the ambience and art installations, as well as the cheerful Christmas tree.

Aloft Boston Seaport Location

Aloft is located in the Seaport District, an area that has been revitalized. The hotel is close to Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, The Lawn on D, and plenty of restaurants. I’m sure this area is amazing during summer! During my stay, the weather was freezing and I couldn’t see a lot of it.

Aloft Boston Seaport rooms

We stayed in Aloft King Room. The room was super spacy, and equipped with places to store clothes and objects. As the rest of the hotel, rooms have modern and colorful decoration. All rooms have a mini-fridge, iron and ironing board, safe, and free coffee and water. What I love the most about the room was the stunning view, we could see Boston’s skyline from the bed.

Next to the bed area you find the bathroom, which is super comfortable and stocked with Bliss Spa toiletries. Aloft Boston Seaport is a pet friendly hotel, which is amazing considering how difficult it is to find hotels with this feature.

Amenities

Breakfast is available from 6 to 10 am at Re:fuel where you can get a la carte breakfast and also get snacks and meals to go 24/7. Morning coffee is free, and waffles are delicious!

On the ground floor, you will also find the WXYZ Bar, a really cool and modern area where you can relax, eat dinner or drink some cocktails. Sometimes there are also live music performances from some local artists. I love this idea but unfortunately I couldn’t see any concert during my stay. WXYZ Bar is equipped with a pool table, board games, and even a guitar for guests to play and enjoy their time. All the decorations and spaces are perfectly designed with colorful objects and give the hotel a fresh and elegant look.

There’s also an indoor pool open until 11 pm where you can relax after a long day of exploring Boston, Re:charge gym and meeting spaces. You really can’t get bored at Aloft!

We stayed 4 nights at Aloft Boston Seaport and we really enjoyed our stay. I loved the hotel’s modern and elegant style, the common areas and amenities. The staff is super helpful and I would recommend Aloft if you’re looking for a great hotel with fresh and modern atmosphere. It was the perfect place to rest while exploring Boston and I would definitely stay here again.
